Spend And Raise - New Horizons - Mental Health Support

Away Days

New Horizons holds an away day each year for all stakeholders to attend. The aim of the day is to review achievements to date as well as to discuss plans for the future.

First Away Day

New Horizons Away Day was held on September 28th 2010.

The Away Day was held to help inform our future directions.

The day was opened by Delia Powell - one of the founder members of New Horizons. Delia outlined how the original need for the organisation was identified and the developments that New Horizons has undergone since it was established in 1995.

On the day trustees, members, staff and volunteers  (Appendix 1- agenda  and Appendix 2 - list of attendees) were asked to consider three questions-

  • Where are we now?
  • What have been our achievements to date?
  • Where do we go from here?
