  • Walking Group - New Horizons are pleased to work in partnership with the Cynon Walking group. The group led by experienced volunteers and walks vary. The group meets at Aberdare Swimming every Thursday at 10:15am-2pm unless it states otherwise, bus fare is generally required, please wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Activities in Hirwaun

This is a volunteer led peer support group for people with mental health issues. The group is run by trained and experienced volunteers (NVQ Level 2 and many years of experience offering support at New Horizons). The group will offer support, a friendly safe environment and a cup of tea.

Access

Adults living with mental health problems and/or emotional distress who are living independently in the Cynon and Rhonda Valleys. No appointment is necessary.

  • Mental Health Support is a partnership project between New Horizons Mental Health and Emotional Well-being Resource Centre and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. Mental Health Support aims to provide accessible advice and information about mental health issues and services to people with mental health problems, their carers, health professionals and anyone else with an interest in mental illness.
