Activities in Rhondda and Taf Ely Outreaches

Pentre House, Pentre (Tuesdays 9am - 3pm) Llantrisant (Fridays 9am – 3pm)

    Regular Activities at both centres include -
  • Art and Craft ( glass/ceramic painting, fabric painting, paper craft, drawing, painting, card making etc)
  • Quizzes
  • Service user meetings
  • Discussion of current affairs ( general interest and relating to New Horizons)
  • Speakers from other organisations
  • Bingo (if requested by members)
    Occasional activities include -
  • Day trips
  • Open-days
  • Awareness raising sessions in community.
  • Special celebrations, such as Christmas

  • Mental Health Support is a partnership project between New Horizons Mental Health and Emotional Well-being Resource Centre and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. Mental Health Support aims to provide accessible advice and information about mental health issues and services to people with mental health problems, their carers, health professionals and anyone else with an interest in mental illness.
